Seoul Hearts Letterpress October 30 2014

Every time we travel we try to find the local letterpress printer. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we miserably fail and sometimes it is magic and we happen upon a shop. Well this was one of those magical times.

While walking through the streets of Seoul we found a lovely little shop called Portfolio

 This is a family owned operation with so much love and beauty in one tiny little shop. They do all of their work on this table top Pilot Press.

And OMG, check out the Korean type they had on display! And we thought our P's and Q's were hard to work with!

Seoul was a surprisingly soothing city. The food and the people were welcoming and the printers were lovely as well. It felt like everyone we met had a fabulous craft or art to share.
